Short Bio

BILS (Built in Lagos State) is an AfroHiphop/Afrobeat artist and producer born in Lagos, Nigeria. At the age of 12, BILS found his love for entertainment, influenced by Fela Kuti, Tupac, Mystikal and Kanye West. At 16, he began writing his own music and creating his own beats. He then moved to the United States to further his education. He has been nominated four times for the Nigerian Entertainment Award, performed at SXSW, opened up for most of the top African musical acts and has landed a song with international Afrobeat artist Olamide with only a few years in the industry under his belt.
